Our Mission

We help shape solutions to meet the needs and concerns of our community.

We envision a future in which the voices of older adults are heard, their experience and talents are valued, and they are empowered to build a community where they can thrive in place. As a not-for-profit organization created to spotlight and advocate for the needs of older residents, we develop better communication between residents and municipal leaders and agencies, and speak out about positive aging models.

Aging in Montclair, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit Organization

Our History

In 2015, a small group of long term Montclair area residents met to talk about services for seniors in Montclair. Since then, we've built a strong leadership group that now includes over 600 members from Montclair and nearby towns who participate in educational and social activities and provide the grassroots opinions that shape AIM's advocacy efforts.
