Aging in Montclair (“AIM”) Saturday Socials presents a free live-streamed event:

An Afternoon with the Montclair Orchestra and its Talented Students

AIM’s next Saturday Social, on December 26 at 2:00pm, will be a presentation by the Montclair Orchestra. The program will include prerecorded excerpts from past performances and selections for the holiday season. Two talented student members of the orchestra will share musical pieces on their instruments and talk about their experiences as young musicians.

The program will be moderated by Andre Weker, Founder and President of the Montclair Orchestra since 2016. Mr. Weker brings a wealth of experience in playing and teaching music along with a unique vision for including student musicians in the Orchestra. The Montclair Orchestra is comprised of professional musicians from world-class orchestras who serve as mentors for exceptional students from preeminent music schools.

Appearing live at this program will be talented musicians Ehren L. Valme, bass trombonist, and Josh Marcum, who plays the double bass.

Ehren L. Valme, bass trombonist of the Montclair Orchestra, is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Bass Trombone Performance at the Juilliard School.
